The
Downtown Plan is Montgomery's Master Plan: a comprehensive blueprint to guide
infill development and redevelopment. The City is providing the
infrastructure while private initiative is doing the rest. Five Points and Cottage
Hill are central to the Master Plan.

Cottage Hill is the oldest intact historic neighborhood in Montgomery,
with many beautiful cottages as well as grand homes built in the mid 1800s to
the early 1900s.
Within easy walking distance of downtown Montgomery, the Biscuits
baseball stadium and the Riverfront development.
Overlook Park offers exceptional views of the Alabama River and
downtown Montgomery.

The Mayor and City of Montgomery place a high
priority on the development of downtown.
Five Points will be transformed into a traffic
plaza similar to Court Square with special attention to landscaping and
pedestrian accessibility.
